The app supports various cameras and formats, including Alexa Classic, XT, SXT, LF, and Amira, with different sensor modes available.

In addition to simulating tele adapters and anamorphic optics for your camera, Magic ViewFinder also allows you to apply commonly used color presets, known as LUTs, to the live picture. This feature enhances your ability to visualize the final shot.

You can also tap on objects in the live screen to activate focus-locked mode.

If the field of view of your real camera is wider than your in-device camera, the app adds padding around the image to compensate. This is a unique solution developed by Magic ViewFinder that sets it apart from other viewfinder apps.

It's worth mentioning that the position of your iPhone or iPad should correspond to the 'nodal point' of your real lens, which is located in the middle of the lens. This 'nodal point' is considered the weighted center of the optics.
